Christmas treats


Industrious candy making elves came to our house yesterday. Here is the fruit of their labor - yum!

    thanks for this photo, a very nice reminder of days when my Great Aunts worked from before
    Thanksgiving until Christmas making all kinds of cookies, candy,
    and cakes. Of course all the items were made from scratch!
    If kind of takes me back to a
    wonderful time in life,
    I would be happy to share some of the old german recipes!
