Here's a card from my Hearts & Flowers class yesterday. The colorful background was made from one of Carla's blouses. I (got her permission) laid the blouse on the flatbed scanner and scanned the image into my computer, saved it and printed it out on photo cardstock. If you would like to make something similar just print out the background yourself. You can use a free program like Picasa from Google, to size the image from 3 1/2" x 5" up to a full page. Go raid your closet and have fun!
What a great idea Mike, that pattern is gorgeous. I'm pretty sure I've got some great patterned fabric in my sewing stash..... :)
