I tried Iris Folding

After all my years of paper crafting, I never really tried Iris Folding. I played with the idea but never seriously. One of my students suggested to me that I should try it using the leftover from die cutting my new Kimono stamp. Here's my first attempt! I think I used too many patterns so I'll try it again with more solid colors. It was fun!

I think it looks just wonderful! Why are we always so critical of our own work.

I think it's lovely too! And what a great idea to use the leftover bits .... now I'll *never* get to throw anything away because someone, somewhere, will find a use for it :)

Some people think that the truth can be hidden with a little cover-up and decoration. But as time goes by, what is true is revealed, and what is fake fades away. See the link below for more info.
