Blog Candy!

This past weekend was our second annual Creation Destination paper crafting event. We had so much fun! I thought it would be cool to share my leftovers. My teaching partner SuzieQ Ingram and I had four projects each. You can see mine in the picture. There are two patterned folded cards (iris folding), a Craft Notes Notebook and a Tabletop Photo Gallery. Just make a comment on this blog post for a chance to win all the kits and instructions. I will choose a winner randomly after I receive 100 comments. Good Luck!

Great work, Mike - I have always wanted to try iris folding (have a great-granddaughter named Iris) and your work is always so beautiful. Hope I win! Of course, I'm going to try an iris-folded Christmas tree for my Christmas cards and ATCs. Thanks for the opportunity.

Mike, I love the table top gallery! What a wonderful gift that would make! Do they have photo inserts so that receiver could place their own photos inside? I like the idea of a craft notebook too.Thank you for sharing! Diana

Very clever turning a cup stamp upside down for a face. I'd never think of that. And I like that you use red, blue and green so that the usual Halloween black and orange theme is enhanced. And monsters are definitely green! lol! Anyone would love getting this card and it looks like it wouldn't be too difficult to re-create! Thanks for the inspiration. Brilliant!

Hi Mike,
Sorry I missed this year's Creation Destination. Last year was so much fun. Your projects this year look fantastic.

The Tabletop Photo Gallery would be perfect to display pictures taken in Seattle of our family "Bookends," our aunt whose 100th birthday we celebrated and our newest addition...our great niece who is just one month old. These "Bookends" were the reason I was out of town during your fun and creative weekend. Your little Lilly certainly was a great inspiration for that Photo Gallery!

So I'm putting my name in the hat to have a chance to win. Thanks so much.

As always, they are lovely pieces! (but would anybody expect any less?) The tabletop photo gallery would be a great gift for anybody who has to spend a great deal of time away from loved one. I'd love to win the kits and try some iris folding.

I would love to win your blog candy. Your work is lovely. I remember your guest episodes with Carol Duval.

I was just recently going through some old VCR tapes (not to get rid of them but to label them) and you were in several episodes I saved along the way. I was even inspired to buy your book about using EVERYTHING for future art projects and throwing nothing away, so I blame you for all the stuff I've kept over the years. ;-) Your imagination knows no bounds. Happy Birthday, too. I like the 2nd childhood story. Do the Japanese do something similar for women?
