Easter Earthquake

We had a memorable Easter brunch yeasterday at my son Colin and his wife Kerry's house. The weather was beautiful so Kerry set the table ouside in the patio. We had an Easter basket hunt and a delicious meal. At 3:40 we all stopped talking and started to feel the ground move, earthquake! We are used to them in San Diego but this one was different. The movement came in waves and it lasted about 30 seconds, much longer than usual. No damage except to some nerves! It was and Easter to remember.

I have to wonder how many swimming pools were cracked by that earthquake. We don't have much in the line of quakes here in N.CA. And I don't miss the Santa Anna winds either.
