Our friend Hetty and her husband Raymond were our hosts in their home while we were in Holland. Hetty took us to the center of her town, Aalsmeer, to see the old windmill. There are not many left and this one dating from the 16th century is a preserved monument.

What a wonderful photo! The sky is so blue and what a gorgeous windmill.
I always wanted to see the flower market in Aalsmeer. Gorgeous windmill, will we see that interpreted as a stamp? :D
