A new way

At the Club Scrap Retreat in October I met a great lady named
Farley Cross. Farley inspired me with her story of how she and
her husband have embraced the vegetarian lifestyle in order to
regain their health and vitality. I have had a life long battle
with weight. I came home from the retreat the heaviest I have
ever been (not your fault Wisconsin!). I am determined to do
something about it. I have been following the plan for two weeks
and I have dropped eight pounds and I can't believe it! I just
wanted to share this bit of information with you and to let you
know I will be posting semi-regular updates on my progress.
I am always grateful for your comments so feel free!
Thanks Farley for getting me started on this new way.

My great pleasure Michael. I am so awed by your ability to embrace this very different and healthy lifestyle. As you have discovered for yourself, great results begin immediately. I'm always available to answer questions and share recipes. I have a bunch.

That's awesome! I've been a veg since I was 15 (21 years now) and my husband for over 12 years. It's healthier for sure, but there's still so much good stuff out there :) Good luck on your journey- excited to hear more about it!

Great job! While not going veggie-I started Weight Watchers about 6 weeks ago now and am down almost 10 lbs. I feel so much better after cutting out most of the alcohol, fast food, mexican food and other junk I was putting in my body every day! Good luck!!

Hi Mike! Farley was my inspiration also. I went vegan in April of this year and it's been a wonderful journey. Every day starts out with a huge bowl of oatmeal with 'the works' - whatever fruit I have on hand, raisins, crasins, cinnamon, and a sprinkle of grape nuts cereal for some B12. Best of luck in your new lifestyle!

Good for you, Michael!!!!
Last year my doctor put me on the south beach diet - and I lost 50 lbs. The key is to find a healthy program that you can live with - and then do just that - LIVE!!

One of the highlights of the CS retreat for me was meeting you. You're beautiful, Michael Strong. In every sense of the word!

FANTASTIC news, Michael. I also started a diet upon my return from Wisconsin but have not had the great results you have. I'll have beg for some of those recipes from Farley.
