Dutch adventure

Hi everybody,

I getting ready to go to The Netherlands for my first European show. I'll be selling stamps, doing demos and helping the attendees make some birthday cards...I'll be busy! Luckily, my Dutch friend Joan Gevaert who owns a stamp/scrapbooking store there is lending me a couple of helpers. I'll be able to hang out with some of my fellow TVWeekly presenters ( and good buddies!) Judi Watanabi and Tricia Morris too, woohoo!

Happy Easter

Oh what a beautiful morning! That old song came to mind as we stepped outside today to welcome Easter. This March in San Diego was unusually pretty because of all the rain we've had. The hills are green and all the wild flowers are in bloom. The blackened hills from the fires of last October are a faded memory. Today we celebrate renewal. Happy Easter to everyone!

The Band

My son Colin is a talented musician and a man of few words. So yesterday when he told us his band had a gig next month it was a revelation. What band? You're in a band? We know he played with some friends but we had no idea they were so organized as to have a 30 minute set of original music ready to go as an opening act for a well known band in a really cool venue! Yeah Colin, you're awesome! Thanks for sharing with good old Mom & Dad. Can't wait to sit in the back row and listen to the band.

A Good Day

Hey everybody,

Today Carla and I went to Huntington Beach to pick up a monumental load of stamps from our manufacturer, Sunday International. Now these folks are the best in the business. Gary Barbee and his crack crew worked through some pesky machinery issues to get my stamps ready to send out all over the world. And that is just what we'll be doing all day tomorrow. All of you who have been waiting so very patiently can look forward to a package from us very soon.

To say we were unprepared for this first blast of orders from our new website is an extreme understatement. That said, we WILL be prepared from now on.

Carla and I want to thank you all from the bottom of our hearts for your support.

All our best,

Mike
