Blog Candy!

Hi everyone,
I have a piece in the summer 2015 issue of RubberStampMadness. It's in the section called Black & White + One. All the works published were required to be in black and white plus the addition of one color. Mine is called Elephant Mandela for obvious reasons. I am giving away my signed original to someone who make a comment on this blog entry. The deadline is Friday May 15. Thanks for checking out my blog and good luck!

Black and white with a touch of red is a winning color combo, striking the eye with beauty.
The Elephants give a sense of motion, elegantly stepping around and making the Mandela come to life.
I also liked the clever use of the Fans as umbrellas, to add a bit more of Oriental touch.
It's a perfect Mandela, a real eye candy which inspires me, and has an extra dimension of what meets the eye at first glance.
And the little red hearts... do you need more to realize it's been made with love?
A stunning piece, Mike.
